WWF News and Views

6/15/99-This is my second update on my site, so I decided to do Monday Night thoughts. Well RAW was good, not the best I have ever seen, but good. The Austin angle is good, but don't expect to see him in that Titan office any longer, look for him to lose the ladder match to the McMahons due to some outside interference or something. I am predicting Austin loses from interference to the newest member of the WWF, if he signs, Shane Douglas. This would be a great way to bring Douglas in and give Austin a new and more exciting feud. I am crossing my fingers hoping Shane Douglas signs, because the WWF is in dire need of heel main eventers. If Shane Douglas does not sign look for Paul Wight or Ken Shamrock to turn heel again, or look for Jeff Jarret to get a main event push. Last night was a nice way to further set up feuds for the King of the Ring. The dog collar match between Bad Ass and Roadogg sets up their meeting in the finals in the King of the Ring tournament, this is not definite but put your money on Bad Ass winning the tournament. Roadogg loses due to outside interference from Chyna, look for Bad Ass to join a thrown out of the Ministry HHH and Chyna in a mini heel group. I thought the blindfold match was gay, it is pathetic when Bossman can't beat Test when he doesn't have a blindfold on. Stephanie McMahon coming out sets up a feud with the McMahons and Test. The straightjacket match was great, Shamrock defeating Jarret with no hands, awesome. Shamrock is a great wrestler and it is his time to get recognition, push this guy. The womens title was match was worthless, Ivory and Bass together, that is great, who cares. Debra is what everyone cares about, I think this is just a way to finally split Jarret and Debra up. These two won't last for the summer, look for Debra to go on her own, or find someone else to manage. The Big Show against X-Pac match was a waste of time, just a way to start the feud between Paul Wight and Kane, I am looking for a double dq in this King of the Ring match. The Acolytes against Kane was an entertaining match, Kane was obviously going to lose, the Acolytes are monsters, they deserve this push. PATTERSON AND BRISCO ARE UNBELIEVABLE, I cannot contain myself when I am a real american hits, these two are hilarious, two bad they got squashed by the two big pieces of ministry crap and the Mean Street Posse. The interview just secured the fact that the McMahons will somehow win that match, sticking with my Shane Douglas pick. The main event was great, seeing the gay Corporate Ministry fight, I am praying that my favorite wrestler and his wife Chyna leave this gay clique for good, they do not belong in this gothic group. The Rock deserved this win, although he will lose at the King of the Ring. Look for the Corporate Ministry to boot Helmsley next week, or for him to just leave. He, Chyna, and Badass would make a good group, don't go back to DX, stay heels and destroy everyone. The Corporate Ministry will remain but with maybe a few less people, HHH, Chyna, and maybe Bossman will leave, look for maybe Jeff Jarret or Shane Douglas to take HHH's spot as the second in command in this group. Next update I will take a close look at the King of the Ring tournament, my predictions, and what will happen with gimmicks this summer, all opinion.

WCW News and Views
6/15/99-Nitro was very good last night, although it got it's butt kicked in the ratings. Sable(Rena Mero) showed up at the show, along with WCW's latest acquisition Sid Vicious. The show was a good one, in my opinion highlighted by two new feuds that are looking to be picking up. First, the young vs. old angle with the Flair/Piper campaign and DDP, Kanyon, Bigelow vs. Buff, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, and Perry Saturn. This will be a great feud, look for more talent from the younger side to jump on the bandwagon, such as Billy Kidman, Konnan, Rey Misterio Jr., and maybe Disco Inferno. The Flair side looks to be the new Horsemen, minus the VP Piper, who will be going bye-bye after this feud is over. The other feud is that of Nash/Sting vs. Savage/Sid, this feud could be great if the WCW runs it right. This could headline the next pay-per-view, the tag match, which I believe it will. This will be a great way to get Sting and Nash reunited, as I have heard they might re-start a new group similar to the Wolfpac called the Filthy Animals, with Konnan, Rey Misterio Jr., and Kidman. This group would be a nice fixture in WCW to fight the likes of the Horsemen and the new small cliques coming out that look impressive, such as the Benoit/Saturn/Malenko/Bagwell clique, the new Horsemen, and the group of Steiners when Scott comes back with Tank Abbott. With Hogan on his way back, rumored to have Sable as his valet, as the Red and Yellow, this will only lead to WCW getting stronger, if they continue to pick up superstars and plenty return from injuries and personal problems(Bret Hart, Scott Hall, Goldberg) they will pick up the pace and start to compete with the WWF again.

ECW News and Views
6/13-ECW is still holding strong despite losing a ton of talent over the last few months. Many more will be staying now since the signing between ECW and TNN cable network which will give ECW a TV deal starting supposedly in the Fall. This will give ECW nationwide attention and more money to spend on wrestlers. This is good for them as now the best and most creative wrestling federation in the world can get their credit. Sabu might be leaving ECW, he wants to sign with the WWF, which would be good for both sides, WWF needs more heels, and Sabu wants more money, perfect fit. Sid is also suspected to be leaving ECW, heading down south to WCW. There have been rumors of the Dudleys heading to WWF, but that is most likely bs. Rob Van Dam will be losing his TV belt to Jerry Lynn, and moving into World Title contention, I can't wait to see Taz against RVD in a headlining PPV match, that would be one heck of a match.
